Welcome to ROCKONN! A Northern Nevada Rocket Club!
Are you looking for places to launch your rocket? Northern Nevada salt flats are ideal for launching almost any size rocket available to the public! We have access to the best launch site in the Carson Valley, Smith Valley, and Reno-Tahoe area. Our 1+ mile diameter salt flat is almost always dry and soft for low-impact landings, but hard enough to drive out and get your rocket.
Waiver: 13,400 feet above ground level. No call in necessary.
Low power, Mid-power, HIGH POWER (L3<40lbs) rocketry.
Modern remote-control launch pad equipment. PA System.
Low annual dues. YES, we do High Power L1 & L2 Certifications.
Tent Toilet available No on-site camping COME JOIN US!
